Responsibilities
- Provide effective and enthusiastic marketing planning, direction and sales leadership to grow our agricultural-related business.
- Provide leadership and responsible oversight for project applications of environmental science and engineering to agriculture involving TMDLs, watershed management, hydrologic and “water footprint” analyses, nutrients, and related surface water and groundwater quality assessments.
Direction Received
- Executive/administrative direction will be provided; good strategic coordination with other business development leaders is required.

- Competitive base salary available commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications.

- May be eligible for discretionary annual bonuses based on personal and corporate performance.
- With sales growth and success in agricultural services, may be eligible for pathway to become a corporate officer and shareholder.
Qualifications
- MS or PhD in relevant agricultural science or engineering field.
- 15 or more years work experience in environmental sciences, engineering, academia or consulting in the areas described above.
- Proven success in bringing in sales (consulting) or bringing in grants (government or academic research).
- Strong reputation and wide network of agricultural business and research contacts.
- Problem-solving and client service orientation.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead highly technical staff, and manage multiple tasks and objectives.
- Motivated and enthusiastic; good people skills and temperament; drive and ambition to set and reach challenging goals.
- People-oriented team player and skilled at participatory leadership.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed, mainly within the continental U.S.
- Legally able to work in the U.S. (proper identification required).
- Experience in computer modeling of agricultural operations, hydrology, pollutant load generation, ground-surface water interactions and effects (e.g., SWAT, HSPF, AGNPS, etc.) is a definite plus.
