LimnoTech staff are leaders in helping clients interpret and implement regulatory policies for effective decision-making and compliance with water and environmental regulations. Our leadership stems from our passion for sound science, participation in national forums, and our culture of innovation in solving challenging water problems.
LimnoTech helped pioneer the use of uncertainty and probabilistic analysis in decision-making to avoid overly conservative assumptions that cost money and provide little environmental benefit. Early on, we promoted the use of watershed management and adaptive management in regulatory programs, maximizing flexibility provided under the Clean Water Act. In the area of remediation of contaminated sites, we are a leader in developing natural attenuation approaches, conceptual models, technical guidance, and decision-support systems. These approaches guide clients to more cost-effective solutions rather than requiring wide-scale and expensive removal programs with questionable effectiveness.
Today we are nationally recognized as leaders and experts in our field, as demonstrated by our projects coast-to-coast and our involvement in issues of national importance.
