Dendy Lofton, PHD, is an aquatic ecologist and limnologist in our Oakdale, Minnesota office with over ten years of experience in water resource monitoring, assessment, and management planning. She has a PhD in Environmental Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she specialized in biogeochemical cycling of carbon and nutrients in shallow arctic lakes. Since joining LimnoTech in 2012, Dendy has provided project management and technical support to a wide range of projects including water quality assessments, urban waterfront revitalization and restoration, watershed planning and management, TMDL development and implementation, and biological community assessments. Her current project leadership and support focuses on stream restoration, diagnostics and management of eutrophic lakes, and watershed planning and management. Dendy works at LimnoTech’s Central Regional Office in Oakdale, Minnesota.
