Paul Freedman, LimnoTech’s founder and CEO, will moderate a technical session and present a paper at the American Water Resource Association’s (AWRA) 53rd Annual Water Resources Conference in Baltimore, Maryland. The conference brings together water resource professionals and students for technical sessions on global water issues such as coastal resilience, as well as local topics such as the Chesapeake Bay and the Delaware River watershed. The conference also gives attendees a chance to connect and learn by participating in workshops and field trips focused on topics such as water conflict management, stream restoration, and urban BMP installation.
Paul will moderate Session 32, “More Restoration vs More Protection: Is there a Magic Balance for Healthy Watersheds?” from 8:30-10:00 am on Wednesday, November 7 in Stadium 2. He will also present a paper during Session 37, co-authored by Kathy Hall, titled “The Wider View: The Roles of Government and NGOs in Large-Scale Watershed Programs” at 10:30 am, also on Wednesday, November 7 in Stadium 2. Stop by to take in these sessions, and to talk to Paul about the advancements we are making in water science and engineering throughout the U.S. and internationally.
We hope to see you there! If you have a question or would like more information, please contact Paul at pfreedman@limno.com or Kathy at khall@limno.com.
