Alex Curwin joined LimnoTech in July 2023 as an Environmental Scientist. Alex has experience in ecological restoration, data analysis, and environmental economics. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in Ecosystem Science and Management from the University of Michigan. During his graduate studies, Alex researched a restored floodplain in Michigan with the USFWS and USGS to characterize community response in various biotic communities. He also analyzed a variety of water quality parameters contributing to his understanding of water quality issues. At LimnoTech, Alex will support corporate water stewardship projects, including risk assessments, volumetric benefit quantification, and project scoping using his broad background in ecology, statistical analysis, and environmental economics to meet client needs.
