Clark Jackson
Clark Jackson joined LimnoTech in July 2026 as an Environmental Scientist with experience in aquatic sampling techniques, environmental conservation, ecological and fisheries sciences, and environmental sensing. He is well-versed in ecological and statistical analyses, aquatic and fisheries conservation, and environmental sensing. Clark specializes in developing methodologies for collecting environmental data via sensor technology as well as lake, wetland, and stream management across the Great Lakes region. He also supports Freeboard Technology, a LimnoTech subsidiary, that develops customizable environmental monitoring technologies and data networks.
Clark earned a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Resources with a minor in Conservation Ecology from West Virginia University, specializing in both wildlife and fisheries management and conservation. He followed this with a Master’s degree in Forestry and Natural Resources, with a focus on Fisheries and Aquatic Conservation, from Purdue University. There, his research focused on developing a low-cost methane sensor implemented in an autonomous flux chamber. He used this device to collect wetland methane fluxes and determine spatiotemporal drivers of emissions. Before joining the LimnoTech team, Clark worked as a Stream Survey Technician for Trout Unlimited, a Watershed Restoration Technician for Friend of the Cheat, and most recently as an Aquatic Research Technician at the Illinois Natural History Survey.
Clark works at LimnoTech’s Corporate Headquarters in Ann Arbor, MI.
