Irene Woods
Irene Woods joined LimnoTech in September 2025 as an Environmental Designer. She earned her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Minnesota. During her studies, she gained experience in research and fieldwork that broadened her understanding of ecological communities and processes, which informs her approach to environmental design. She focuses on creating resilient and ecologically responsive places. Her professional experience spans restoration and conservation design, stormwater management, and urban site planning. She has contributed to projects involving green infrastructure, wetland and shoreline restoration, and invasive species management. In addition to her technical work, Irene has collaborated on public art and placemaking projects that explore the relationship between people and the environment, using design charrettes and community engagement methods to bring diverse perspectives into planning and design.
Irene works at LimnoTech’s Central Regional Office in Oakdale, Minnesota.
