Jenna Kutscher

Jenna Kutscher, EIT, joined LimnoTech in June 2026 as an Environmental Engineering Intern and transitioned to a full-time Environmental Engineer immediately following her internship. Her work at LimnoTech spans environmental research, in-field environmental sensing, water stewardship, data management, and environmental modeling. Jenna holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan, where she specialized in renewable energy, air quality, and climate change, and earned a certification in Sustainable Engineering. She holds an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification and is currently pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.

Prior to joining LimnoTech, Jenna gained diverse engineering and leadership experience at the University of Michigan. As an undergraduate research assistant in the Civil and Environmental Engineering department, she contributed to innovative research converting waste to energy and generating renewable biogas. She also held several campus leadership roles, serving as a Building Supervisor for university recreational facilities, a Trip Leader with the Adventure Leadership program facilitating ethical and sustainable outdoor recreation, and the leader of a student organization advancing living standards for underserved communities in rural Guatemala, where she managed a team of students implementing engineering solutions on-site in Guatemala. During her graduate studies, Jenna worked as a Co-Op with the local energy utility, advancing renewable energy initiatives across Michigan.
