Kelly McCabe

Kelly McCabe joined LimnoTech in June 2026 as an Environmental Scientist with experience in water quality monitoring, stormwater and watershed management, and science communication. Her work focuses on evaluating water quality and watershed conditions across the Great Lakes region, with an emphasis on nutrient dynamics, harmful algal blooms, and practical data collection approaches that support environmental decision-making. She also supports Freeboard Technology, a LimnoTech subsidiary that develops customizable environmental monitoring sensors and data systems.

Kelly holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Oceanography from the University of South Carolina and brings six years of water quality research experience in the Great Lakes region. She has led and supported projects investigating pollutants, altered hydrology, eutrophication, harmful algal blooms, hypoxia, heavy metal bioaccumulation, and carbon sequestration in aquatic environments. Her experience spans academic, government, and nonprofit partnerships focused on improving water quality for ecosystems and communities.

Kelly works at LimnoTech’s Corporate Headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
