Noémi Barabás, PHD, has been an environmental and water resources engineer with LimnoTech since 2003. Her principal areas of expertise are geostatistical modeling and multivariate analysis (fingerprinting, polytopic vector analysis) with applications in sampling design, site investigation, site characterization, contaminant fate monitoring, and environmental forensic investigations. She has extensive experience with investigations of contaminated sediments in rivers, floodplains and estuaries, with contaminants such as PCBs, dioxins, pesticides, metals, and PFAS. She also has expertise with designing and coordinating field investigations and managing small projects. Noémi has excellent communication and client management skills. She speaks English, Hungarian (native), German, Romanian, and French. Noémi works at LimnoTech’s Corporate Headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
