Amanda Flynn Promoted to Principal

We’re excited to announce Amanda Flynn’s advancement to Principal. Amanda has more than 20 years with LimnoTech, holds foundational degrees in Oceanography (MS) and Biology (BS), and currently serves as LimnoTech’s Marketing Manager.
Amanda is known for her meticulous attention to detail, exceptional communication and synthesis skills, and uncanny ability to anticipate challenges and arrive with solutions already in hand. Amanda’s early career at LimnoTech established her as a trusted technical leader in watershed and water quality modeling. Notable work included nutrient modeling for the Truckee River third-party nutrient TMDL, estuarine phosphorus and algal speciation sub-models for the Potomac River, and agricultural watershed modeling for the Illinois and Maumee River basins. Her work has also been published in the Journal of Coastal Research, the Journal of Management and Sustainability, and Ecological Applications.
In 2018, Amanda led a pivotal evolution and elevation of our marketing team, bringing her technical depth, organizational skills, graphic design talent, and creativity to serve our growing needs in business development and branding. She crafted and effectively executed her role as LimnoTech’s Marketing Manager, demonstrating proactive and consistent servant leadership. She leads the development and curation of LimnoTech’s website, marketing campaigns, social media, and brand strategy. Amanda directs and oversees our proposal workflow process, partnering closely with our marketing and business development teams. She sets expectations for excellence in the way we communicate our technical work and capabilities, shaping how clients, partners, and prospective staff experience LimnoTech. Amanda has been instrumental in growing and developing our marketing team, and she currently leads our exploration of AI-enabled workflows to expand business development capacity without compromising the quality and reputation that define our work.
As Principal, Amanda joins LimnoTech’s senior leadership in advancing our strategic plan — growing the firm’s capabilities, expanding our role and profile, advancing thought and innovation leadership, and supporting the professional growth of our people. Over two decades, she has consistently combined technical rigor with creative reinvention, and her promotion reflects the kind of sustained leadership and excellence that the Principal role at LimnoTech is designed to recognize.
