On March 23, Todd Redder and Derek Schlea co-led a webinar with the Vermont Department of Environment Conservation (DEC) in Montpelier, Vermont to unveil the Clean Water Roadmap for Vermont. The Clean Water Roadmap, which was funded by Keurig Green Mountain, is a web-based tool developed by LimnoTech to support Vermont’s efforts to identify and prioritize management strategies to reduce phosphorus loads to meet Lake Champlain phosphorus Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) targets. The Roadmap also highlights priority conservation and restoration areas within the Lake Champlain watershed via The Nature Conservancy’s Water Quality Blueprint, allowing for co-benefits to be directly factored into the prioritization process.
