Zach Gordon joined LimnoTech in September 2022 as a Mechanical Engineer. Zach has a wide breadth of knowledge of technical applications in the water space and leverages clear technical communication skills to provide value to clients. He contributes technical knowledge relating to mechanical design, environmental installation, and Internet of Things (IoT) architecture to projects within LimnoTech. Zach is also the Lead Product Engineer for Freeboard Technology, a subsidiary of LimnoTech, specializing in creating customizable remote monitoring buoys and sensing stations. Zach is a key field team member, retrieving, deploying, and maintaining LimnoTech’s innovative data collection systems.

He previously worked as an electrical and mechanical systems engineer at General Dynamics Electric Boat, implementing innovative technology in one of the world’s harshest marine environments. Zach has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
