Federal/State/Regional Agencies

LimnoTech has supported federal and state governmental agencies and regional entities since the company was formed in 1975. The responsibilities of these agencies and entities to meet their respective missions and respond to a diverse group of stakeholders present unique challenges.

We help our clients further their goals and needs for water quality and quantity science, engineering, and research; water-related planning and compliance; ecosystem management, restoration and resilience; and advancing the supporting science. These services can include regulatory and compliance planning; literature reviews and white paper development; field investigations; watershed and aquatic ecosystem monitoring, including the use of conventional and advanced remote sensing technologies; data science and AI-assisted data evaluation and management; research, development, and application of process-based ecosystem models; web-based decision support tools; and design and implementation of nature-based restoration for flood control, water quality improvement, habitat creation, and coastal resilience.

At LimnoTech, we combine the best, unbiased science with an in-depth knowledge of environmental policies and regulation requirements and a long history of working with regulators and the regulated community.

LimnoTech maintains multiple federal contract vehicles that allow federal and other federally related clients an easy, direct way to contract with us. These contracts include:

We are also a named subcontractor on several federal indefinite-delivery contracts, including those with the USACE Institute of Water Resources (IWR), USACE Districts, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA).

LimnoTech has also formed an SBA-approved SDVOSB mentor-protege joint venture with Drummond Carpenter, known as the Drummond-LimnoTech Joint Venture, which enables partners and clients to meet small business goals or take advantage of set-aside and sole source contracting options.
