Hunter Kunzelmann, EIT, joined LimnoTech as an Environmental Engineer in July of 2026. Hunter specializes in restoration design, nature-based solutions, stormwater management, data analysis, and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling. Prior to working at LimnoTech, Hunter supported land development projects in southeast Michigan through CAD work in site design, public utility coordination, cost estimation, and permit acquisition and compliance.

Hunter attended the University of Georgia, where he earned a BS in Environmental Engineering and an MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering along with a Natural Infrastructure Certificate. Hunter’s graduate studies while at the University of Georgia focused primarily on wetland restoration in the Great Lakes region, where he developed a low-cost, low-tech model for multi-objective wetland design for nutrient reduction and waterbird habitat provision. During his time in graduate school, Hunter was a member of the Institute for Resilient Infrastructure Systems, where he assisted with field work and data analysis for coastal wetlands on Georgia’s barrier islands.

Hunter works at LimnoTech’s Corporate Headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
