Dr. Tim Dekker, PhD, PE, gave a presentation at the American Water Resources Association (AWRA) Utah Section 46th Annual Water Resources Conference on May 16, 2018 at the University of Utah. The theme of the conference was “Governance, Philanthropy, Energy, and Resilience of Water—A Global Perspective.” Presentations included proposed and implemented changes in water governance and water resources management, Utah’s history of working to build water security, water uses for alternative energy, and resilience in natural and man-made water systems.
Tim’s presentation was titled “Forecasting Harmful Algal Blooms in Lake Erie and Utah Lake Implications,” an area where LimnoTech has provided national leadership.
