December 7, 2018
Alicia Ritzenthaler will be moderating and presenting at the 24th Annual Maryland Water Monitoring Council Conference in North Linthicum, Maryland, on Friday, December 7, 2018. The conference will include speaker presentations, poster exhibits, vendor displays, and a chance for water professionals to network.
Alicia will moderate a technical session titled “Machine Learning, Maps and Photogrammetry – Technology at Its Finest” in Room A-302 at 10:30 am. She will also give a presentation during that session titled “Integrating Collector for ARCGIS and Survey 123 to Create a Custom, Mobile Data Collection Tool.”
LimnoTech customized this mobile data collection tool by integrating Collector for ArcGIS and Survey 123. This tool allows users to interact with the mapping of Collector while leveraging Survey 123’s programming capabilities. Using this tool streamlines effort in the field, reduces post-collection data processing, and drastically improves QA/QC. Alicia will discuss what led LimnoTech to develop this tool and advantages it has over existing “off the shelf” tools, and will also give a demonstration.
Stop by to hear Alicia’s presentation if you attend the conference, and to talk to her about technologies that LimnoTech is pioneering in environmental monitoring; data access, management, and visualization; and many other areas of environmental science.
