Alicia Ritzenthaler is a project scientist at LimnoTech’s Mid-Atlantic Regional Office in Washington, DC. Her areas of expertise include environmental sampling, monitoring program design, water resource planning, and data management and visualization. Alicia is an MBSS-certified benthic macroinvertebrate sampler and has extensive experience with a wide range of autonomous, water quality monitoring instruments. She is also skilled at ArcGIS, R, diverse laboratory analyses, and communicating science to non-technical audiences. She’s invested in developing tools and strategies to promote improved data collection, apply scientific knowledge to decision-making, and share science in engaging, meaningful ways.
