Isabel Pagán-Caballero joined LimnoTech in June 2022 as an Environmental Engineer. Isabel has experience working on projects covering a range of technical areas, including corporate water stewardship, dam removal feasibility, Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit support, and coastal restoration. She completed her undergraduate degree in Environmental Science from California Baptist University. Isabel also earned a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering with a specialization in Water Quality and Process Engineering from the University of Michigan. Her primary focus during her graduate studies included the design of water treatment systems, biological and chemical processes in wastewater, fluid dynamics, sediment transport, and data analysis. She previously interned for Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, using geospatial analysis to delineate paleochannels on the Hanford Superfund Site. Isabel also interned as an undergraduate researcher with North Carolina State University’s agronomy department to study ammonia volatilization rates using various fertilizers.
