Cathy Whiting is a senior project engineer with more than 20 years of extensive technical and project management experience through a wide variety of project work throughout the U.S. Her responsibilities at LimnoTech are primarily focused on the design and implementation of large field sampling plans. Her expertise includes surface water investigations, contaminated sediment studies, groundwater investigations, water quality evaluations for CSO facilities plans, site remediation, and feasibility studies. Ms. Whiting also has expertise in water issues faced by the electric power industry, specifically 316(b) studies and compliance. Her experience includes environmental remediation, including site investigation, feasibility analysis, remedial technology selection, system design, and site management. She has also been involved in urban river restoration and design including planning and regulatory compliance. Ms. Whiting has more than six years of experience in the utility industry and was involved in environmental compliance programs for power plants required by legislation such as the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, TSCA and RCRA. Cathy works at LimnoTech’s Corporate Headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
